The date of
birth gave one more name
A TEN
POINTS BABY BOY
FOR MINNI
AND ROOPE
Finnish
golf professionals Minea "Minni" Blomqvist's and Roope Kakko's first child was
born on Wednesday night the 31st of March at Jorvi hospital in Espoo,
Finland. The healthy baby boy weighs 3.9 kg and is 52 cm tall.
- Do you notice the date of the
birth, asked the happy but exhausted mother right after the delivery.
- Well, it's the number plate of
Donald Duck's car: 313 (= 31st of March). Roope and I decided immediately to add one more name
between the already chosen two first names. Donald's Finnish name Aku complemented
the baby's name to be Elmeri Aku Mikael Kakko, explained Minea exited.
- It was a heavy experience, but now it's all happily
over. The baby had to spend his first hours with his father, while I was
recovering from the Cesarean section.
- I was feeding the boy last night, but after
that he has been mostly sleeping. Roope has taken care of him, while I have
been resting. I'll have to learn those things when I'm back on my feet again.
Obviously we'll be sent home on Saturday, at the earliest, told the figurehead
of Finnish women's golf, planning to return to the LPGA competition courts by
Midsummer.
Roope = Scrooge McDuck´s Finnish name
Minea´s nickname Minni = Minnie Mouse´s Finnish name
